Hi Tim. Remember me?

Tim    I can't believe you remember the whole ticket thing , that's amazing. As far as young drivers go I would like to think that I use a little common sense and empathy. Basically if they are humble thay get away with a warning and reminder of the licence and insurance implications if they get tickets, but if arrogant ....

Sorry I missed you at the park on Sunday but my mother had a family BBQ I had to attend. Great to hear from you.    Jim

Maybe next time your in town

Enjoy spending time with your 4-year old. I get to hang out with 8 year old boys and 11 year old girls.  Somethimes very different interests and senses of humour they share, to say the least.

Well Tim

My interest in the whole bee keeping thing has been peaked.  I have been doing some reading to see if it is really up my alley.

As for Pottery...for as long as I  could remember I always felt that I would do well on the wheel.  Finally last year I signed up for a class.  I was new and the other people were in their 23rd week of class.  By the third class I was throwing clay and pulling them off the wheel.  Some of the people in the class didn't like that I guess.  The teacher would just poo poo me and stopped really showing me stuff (she also sold her stuff)  So I went out and got a studio set up for myself.  I am all set with the wheel, kiln, glazes, and all the toys.  I have taught myself a bit, reading online and then trying to produce things.  I was a natural...until I did some major nerve damage in my right arm.  I am pretty much healed and ready to get back to throwing clay, but it would be fun to do it with another potter...get ideas, talk dirty...you know what I mean LOL  Talk clay :)  I might sign up for a different class, I hear there is a potter in the area that is more open to teaching.

Hey Tim!

I have to agree with Steve...your unquished head pics are very good and your son is dreamy!

As for the bee sitting...very cool.  I am thinking we might start down this path of honey farming.  Seneca, my youngest, is a charmer when it comes to all animals and probably an old sould bee charmer as well.  My sister sent me a site to get some answers on the whole bee keeper business but it was one of those pay site to get the info.  I am curious about the whole queen bee thing (being one myself) they really do move out when a new queen is born eh?  Do you actually go near the hive and check things out (get the honey) or do you let Bob the Bee Keeper do all the charming?

And speaking of China I spent a month there back in 94.  I LOVED it!  Well I loved it after my culture shock wore off that is.

Sorry we are going to miss you next weekend.  We have to head back to the Muskokas for a BBQ on Sunday.

Keep in touch

I'd love to go fishing in BC some day. I generally bird and fish at the same time. Salmon and Trout were plentiful here once....and are becoming more so again. the streams and brooks are being made crooked again after years of straightening, and Conservation is important in such a small country. We see lots of migrating geese and ducks - I live on a west coast too you know! I've been out fishing with Jonathan a few times - He still doesn't believe you can actually catch anything! Next weekend we are going to Legoland - now thats somethin he understands - instant gratification.

Tim, so great to hear from you. To answer your question, no drug will make your head look better but from reviewing some of your photos I believe the best therapy is to spend more time with Gilbert and also fishing! Your head looks great in both of those photos. I too am a catch and eat person still pulling the odd one from old mother Erie but now from the U.S. side of the lake. So don't worry I will stand up with you. Wishing you all the best with your family's adoption. We know it's not easy but so worth it. Would love to hear more about the China experience. Take care.

Tim: This is Lisa (Reynolds) Jeffery at Dawn (Davey) Enns' house (late-night partying - some things never change...actually...just getting together for dinner and a swim with our kids). We are looking forward to seeing you at Seacliff Park. We plan to tour the high school that afternoon too. It's being torn down and replaced within the year and we thought some of our classmates might enjoy walking through the halls one last time. I  also LOVED The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. I taught special ed for 3 years and the main character (the name escapes me), I swear, was one of my students - an autistic boy. Your son is adorable and it seems like you are living a very rewarding life out west.

Hmm. Allergy meds must be stronger on the west coast. You look......different.  Time to switch doctors maybe??
