After high school I headed off to University of Guelph where I graduated in 1992 with a biological sciences degree. Because I didn't have enough fun in university I decided to go to the states for more school. In 1997 I graduated from the University of Toledo with BS Pharmacy degree. I meet my wife Amy there and we were married in April 1998. Both Amy and I work for Kroger in Michigan as pharmacy managers. We have been blessed with adopting two children Ethan, 3, and Mia, 1, both from Guatemala. Mia just came home with us on June 14. We are currently waiting for her certificate of citizenship to be issued by the US government to travel outside the US. We created a blog to keep all of our family and friends up to date with our current family activites. You can view it at www.canamguat.blogspot.com

Hi Steve,

Nice to see all is well with you and your family. Your children are so beautiful. Hopefully you can get the papers needed, so we can meet the family. Take care.

funny...I probably would have walked past you on the street...but then if you had smiled I would have recognized it instantly.

Beautiful family and congrats with that.  I have often headed down the adoption path (startings of it) and never made it very far.  So worth it though eh?
