Still like the music from the 80's - What's on my ipod? Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Meatloaf, Jann Arden, Journey, Rolling Stones, - along with some more recent stuff: Coldplay, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani

I read alot and even belong to a book club (O.K. it's actually more of a "going out to dinner" club, but sometimes we read books). The last one I read was by the author of The Kiterunner, called A Thousand Splendid Suns -excellent; I also like anything by Jodi Picoult; Sophie Kinsella (Shopaholic books), Emily Giffin..I'm also rediscovering Little House on the Prairie books with my oldest girls - I can't wait till we graduate to Nancy Drew!

Movies....I cannot recall the last time I actually sat in a theatre - oh yes I do - it was to see Enchanted - princesses, dragons, evil queen, McDreamy - something for everyone! We do rent ALOT of DVD's - the last one was The Assassination of Jesse James - Brad Pitt -looking kind of old... Anne of Green Gables and Pippi Longstocking - also not too bad - definitely better than Polly Pocket and Barbie.

After leaving LDSS, I went to the University of Western Ontario for alot of years - I was having so much fun, I just kept going back! After finishing a few degrees, I eventually went into teaching - high school math and science - but after having 4 kids in 4 years, I've been at home for awhile recovering from the shock and being a mom - the most exhausting job I've ever had! In first year university, I started dating Jamie Di Laudo and we've been together ever since - we got married in 1996, built a house in Kingsville in 1999, had a bunch of kids (7yr old daughter, 5 year old daughter and almost 3 year old twins - boy and girl) and haven't had a decent night's sleep since! We drive a minivan, which I still haven't completely accepted - but what other vehicle has room for 4 carseats? Before we had kids we did some travelling - mostly through Europe, Canada, the U.S. and Mexico - the most exciting trip we've been on lately is to Disneyworld in February. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion next summer!

Hobbies? Who has time for hobbies with 4 kids under the age of 7?? If I find a few seconds to spare, I like to read a paragraph or two in a book that isn't about princesses; I occasionally find my way to the gym - maybe I'll go more often now that a reunion is in my future! ...does cleaning the house or doing the laundry count as a hobby??

Hi Sue,

Nice to hear from you. Your kids are cute buttons too. I read your info and I too have not had a solid night's sleep in 4 years! Its okay, I love 'em. Tina stopped full time work as a librarian too. Our kids are way more advanced than most of the other kids they hang around at pre-school and play group because mom and I teach, sing and play with them a lot. I want a mini van real bad! Have you gotten your kids into Mary Poppins yet? That will be a good one to get them into. See ya soon.

Hi Sue. It's hard to believe that it is nearly 20 yrs since we were at LDSS!&nb sp;It's been great to hear how everyone is getting on. You'll love Ireland, if you ever make it for a visit. It really is a beautiful country. But I know what you mean about travelling with kids. Take care.

Joanne
