Although not as smoking as when I left Calgary (bordering on insanity) the job market in Vancouver is still pretty hot.  As for Tim Horton's I've always thought I would fit better as barista at Starbucks's, they are always so friendly and funny and young......yeah, I catch the drift, I will get my name into Tim's tomorrow AM.
