Just a little note to all interested people!!!  I am currently trying to start an Optimist Club in Leamington.  Basically, you give a little of your time to help fundraise for children and children's programs.  Have a heart and give a little of yourself, in time only, for a great cause...because our children are our future. 

There will be an information session...so please don't feel pressured...on Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Jose's Noodle Factory in Leamington.  It would be a pleasure to see a bunch of all you wonderful people attend.  Thank you.

It has been a rough couple of weeks for me.  Lat week Sunday, I came home from work and found one of my pet rats dead.  Monday, my father went into the hospital for complications from his gall bladder surgery.  He hasn't been well for about a month now.  Then, Tuesday morning my mother phoned me to tell me that my nanny had passed away.  She was like a mother to me instead of my grandmother.  She was the flame to my candle.   Now, my candle is out but life goes on.  I miss her very much.  Take it from me.  When there is someone very special in your life, make sure you visit them as much as possible and you tell them every day that you love them and how important they are to you.  I was lucky.  I got to tell her that I loved her very much.  I saw her two days before and I got to take her for her first walk of the year and the last walk of her life.  That's a moment in time that I will cherish forever.  So tell your children, your husband, your boyfriend, your parents and everybody else that you can think of how you love and care for them.
